One Blood Declaration
The Church of God Sheba Assembly - One Blood Declaration
At The Church of God Sheba Assembly, we stand firm on the belief that all humanity was created equal in the sight of God, made from one blood. As followers of Christ, we are called to live out His command to love one another, regardless of race, nationality, or background. This belief is central to our identity as a church, and we are proud to proclaim the One Blood Declaration.
The Bible teaches us in Acts 17:26 that God made from one blood all nations of men to dwell on the face of the earth. This powerful truth reminds us that there is no distinction between people based on their ethnicity, race, or place of origin. All human beings are equally loved by God and share a common heritage. At The Church of God Sheba Assembly, we embrace this truth, celebrating the beauty of diversity and the unity that can only be found in Christ.
We firmly believe that the Church is called to be a place of belonging for everyone, regardless of their race or national identity. As such, we do not tolerate any division, exclusion, or discrimination based on race, nationality, or ethnicity. We reject the notion of being part of any society, group, or ideology that promotes racial or national superiority over others.
Our commitment to unity and equality is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. In Galatians 3:28, the Apostle Paul declares, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." This scripture underscores that in God's Kingdom, distinctions that divide humanity are irrelevant. We are all one in Christ, and this truth compels us to love our neighbors—regardless of their race or background—as ourselves.
The One Blood Declaration is not just a statement; it is a call to action. It is a reminder that as members of the Body of Christ, we are called to live out the unity and love that Jesus demonstrated during His time on earth. It challenges us to extend grace, compassion, and kindness to every person, without exception. We are committed to creating a church community where all are welcome, and where each person is valued and loved as a unique creation of God.
In this world that often seeks to divide us, The Church of God Sheba Assembly stands as a beacon of hope, proclaiming the message of unity, love, and equality for all people. We believe that through Christ, we can overcome the divisions of race and nationality and build a community that reflects the heart of God.
Let us continue to walk in the truth of our One Blood Declaration, loving one another as Christ has loved us, and working toward a world where every person is valued, honored, and celebrated as an image-bearer of God. Together, we are one family, united by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Conclusion
The Church of God Sheba Assembly remains committed to upholding the values of unity, equality, and love as taught by Jesus Christ. We stand firm in our belief that we are all created from one blood and that no race or nationality is superior to another. We reject any form of discrimination and strive to be a church that reflects the inclusive and loving heart of God.
May we continue to walk in this truth, living out the One Blood Declaration in our relationships, our communities, and the world around us.
